Students in Kindergarten and 8th Grade will be taking cap and gown photos next Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Also, 12th grade students will be taking cap and gown retakes the same day. HOMECOMING REMINDERS: Tomorrow is the presentation of our 2022 Homecoming Court and the Homecoming Dance. The court will be presented at 7 PM. The dance will be from 8-10 PM and is open to students in grades 7-12 ONLY.

Tonight at our senior night ceremony, we will also be celebrating the accomplishments of our Varsity Cheer Captain Emma DeRise! She will be recognized along with the basketball seniors immediately following the district game against Tenaha, which tips at 5 PM.

We have tentatively set the date for our Homecoming Court recognition and dance for Friday, February 25 beginning at 7 PM. The Homecoming Dance will be held from 8-10 PM the same night. This date is subject to change based upon the varsity boys' playoff run.

The time of our senior night celebration for our basketball and cheerleading seniors is changing tomorrow. The recognition will take place immediately following the varsity boy's game against Tenaha. We anticipate starting no earlier than 6:15 PM.

Updates regarding Varsity Boys Basketball:
The Varsity Boys will complete the regular season Tuesday @ 5pm against Tenaha at Home. This will Senior Night and we will have the ceremony starting at 4:30. We ask that parents of Seniors arrive at 4:20 to prepare for ceremony. There will only be one game starting at 5pm.
The Varsity Boys Playoff game VS. Dallardsville Big Sandy will take place at Hudson High School Gymnasium at 6:30 pm on February 22nd.

We have been informed that Gary ISD does not have a JV boys team available to play tonight.
Also, due to Gary ISD having homecoming tonight, games will begin at 6pm with varsity girls, and varsity boys will play following the completion of the girls game.

CORRECTION: Due to forecasted inclement weather, MISD will be starting school at 10 AM on Friday, Feb. 4. Buses will run 2 hours later than their regularly scheduled times. As always, our website, app and social media accounts will have the latest information regarding district operations
Due to the inclement weather advisories it is in the best interest of Martinsville ISD to postpone all after school activities for Thursday February 3rd. Homecoming will be rescheduled to a later date as soon as possible.
