BASEBALL/SOFTBALL : Due to conflicts with the Area Track Meet on the 12th, both baseball and softball games have been rescheduled for Monday the 11th.
The softball game will be played in Garrison starting at 5:00.
The baseball game will be played in Joaquin starting at either 4:30 pm or 6:30 pm, dependent on the weather. The starting time will be announced Monday as soon as the weather permits.

TRACK: Attached is the schedule of events for the District Track Finals held at Shelbyville ISD on April 7, 2020.
The Area Meet will be held April 12th at Shelbyville ISD, the schedule will be released upon completion of the District Meet.

The baseball game scheduled on April 15th at Mount Enterprise has been moved to April 14th at 6pm in observance of Easter break.
The non-district baseball game scheduled for April 16th against Broaddus has been canceled.
The softball game against Timpson scheduled for April 15th has been moved to April 14th at Home starting at 4:30 pm in observance of Easter break.
BASEBALL UPDATE: The scheduled home baseball game has been moved to Shelbyville due to field conditions. The game will start at 6 pm.

REMINDER: The English 1 (9th grade students) STAAR EOC will be tomorrow, April 5th, 2022. It is very important for your student to have a good night's rest, eat a healthy breakfast at home or in the cafeteria, and be on time for school! Testing will begin 1st period! This will also help us determine our rollover for the 2022-2023 school year. If you think you may qualify for P-EBT benefits for summer 2022, the application MUST BE COMPLETED by TOMORROW, Tuesday April 5, 2022.

Congratulations to the Martinsville Golf Team! The Martinsville Pirates competed at their District Meet yesterday where Kinley Snider placed 1st as an individual.
Kinley Snider and Kylee Snider both advanced to Regionals as individuals and will be competing at the Regionals on April 20th and 21st.

Martinsville ISD will be holding its annual Pre-K and Kindergarten Round-Up March 28-31 from 7:30 AM-3:30 PM daily in the Administration Office. Bring proof of residence, your child's immunization records, birth certificate, and Social Security card.

Yesterday 14 HS students went to SFA for our District UIL competition. These 14 students competed in 11 different events. While some events were a definite learning opportunity, multiple students advanced to the regional competition at Panola on April 22nd and 23rd.
After finishing their competitions, 6 of the 14 students then got on a bus with other FFA students and headed to Tarleton for another competition!
At the district level, the top 6 places receive a medal, with top 3 advancing to regionals. The 4th-6th places are alternates.
The following students received a medal for their efforts in the meet:
Shannon Locke - Copy Editing 1st place! (Advanced to Regionals)
Gracie Gilcrease - Spelling/Vocabulary 6th place
Emma Pope - Spelling/Vocabulary 3rd place (Advanced to Regionals)
Dylan Miles - Accounting 4th place; Social Studies 3rd place; Mathematics 3rd place (Advanced to Regionals in SS and Math)
Dustin Randall - Accounting 3rd place (Advanced to Regionals)
