Martinsville JV Boys Basketball Tournament Schedule Change!
Today the game has been moved to 4:00pm against Kilgore and will be in Nac in the Old Gym.

ANNOUNCEMENT! The 2024 Martinsville Christmas Music Program will be Thursday, December 19th, at 7:00. Music students who are performing must arrive no later than 6:45. More info to follow.

Attention: Elementary & Jr. High UIL Announcement
Elementary and Jr. High UIL will be held on Friday, Dec. 13th, at Angelina Jr. College. The bus will depart promptly at 7:10 a.m., and we will arrive back at MISD by regular dismissal time. Donuts, kolaches, and pizza will be provided. If your child will not eat pizza, please send them lunch.
Permission slips have been sent home so please sign and return ASAP.

Reminder-Fall Picture retakes will be tomorrow, Tuesday, December 3rd. This includes individual yearbook retakes (no hats or caps allowed) and senior cap and gown retakes.

Here is the schedule for Martinsville FFA for Friday 11/22/2024. They will be leaving around 5:30 a.m. in order to get to the destination and get breakfast for students. Basketball will be leaving when they are done with their contests and go to Wells tournament.


Our Lady Pirates will be hosting Cushing tonight at home starting at 5:30pm. We also want to remind everyone that we have raffle tickets on sale for the Martinsville Cornhole Boards! We have changed the drawing date to Homecoming so make sure and get your tickets from the school or they will be on sale during the home games until January 17th!


Martinsville Cheer will be hosting a beginning-of-the-season basketball pep rally on Tuesday, November 19th. We will also be giving out PK-8 Mighty Pirate Awards at 2:30pm with our pep rally starting immediately after! Please remember visitors much check in at the front office before you go into the gym. If you have visited our school before you may call ahead before 12pm and your badge will be preprinted.


Attention Seniors !
Our Counselor, Ms. Courtney, will be giving the TSI test for all seniors interested on December 18th at 8:00am. Any student wishing to go to college, or a trade school, must be TSI complete before getting an application accepted to their chosen school of interest. Please email her or go by her office (the old nurse's office) to sign up.

Please check in at the front office before entering the gym. In order to avoid delays that morning, you may pre-check in in the front office any day before Friday morning.


UPDATE: All basketball games scheduled for today, November 5th, will be played at Cushing. Varsity Girls vs Gary will tip off at 4:30 with JV and Varsity Boys vs Cushing to follow.


Just a reminder that tomorrow Friday November 1st is an early release day for our students at 11:30am!

Fall Festival will be raffling off these corn hole boards at the first home basketball game! We are beginning our sales Friday night at the Fall Festival. Don't miss your chance to win these awesome boards!


October 8th is dyslexia awareness day. Wear red to support our students affected by dyslexia. They work extra hard everyday to be successful. ♥️


Martinsville Mini Cheer Clinic Sign ups! Permission forms are coming home this week and are due back with payment to Mrs. Hays by October 4th.
The Mini Cheer clinic will be held Saturday October 26th.

Don't forget tonight, we will be hosting our last JH Basketball Home game for the season. Games will be starting at 5pm. We will also be hosting a Blackout Game in honor of one of our childhood cancer warrior students. Wear black and come on out to support our JH Students and Ashlyn! Cheer will be selling SuSu's popcorn and orange bracelets supporting childhood cancer.
